Cabarrus Police Department

“Public Service through Professionalism and Integrity” Mission Statement: The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office is committed to protecting the lives, property, and rights of all people; to maintain order, and enforce the law impartially. We will provide quality law enforcement services in partnership with other members of the community. To fulfill our mission, we will strive to attain the highest degree of ethical behavior and professional conduct at all times.

Cabarrus County is home to approximately 216,000 residents. The county’s business community is diverse with a mix of small and large organizations in industries ranging from bioscience, motorsports, tourism, retail, and manufacturing.

The Silent Partner IntelliView solution goes beyond just Fire and EMS—it’s being used by the City of Newton Urban Forestry in Massachusetts, City of Tampa Waste Management to track Waste Bins, Lee County Mosquito Control, and many other divisions within a City/County/Municipality and recently deployed by the Cabarrus County Police Department to help manage their Consumable Inventory and Assets. While the items being tracked are significantly different from its sister agency, the Fire Department—their items are just as important and just as difficult to track with spreadsheets. As such the Cabarrus County Police departments are implementing the Silent Partner IntelliView solution to help track everything from Tasers, to T-shirts, utilizing several of the Silent Partner modules. Silent Partner is thrilled to be a part of their evolution into the RFID world of tracking.
